I've spent a long time fascinated by the conversation between body and mind — how tightly movement, sensation, emotion, and thought are woven together. Treat them separately and you're reading every third word of a sentence: you get the gist, but you miss the meaning.

REC SPACE is built on that: your thinking, your embodied emotion, and your impulse to act each hold a piece of the truth the others can't reach alone. Mind without body just narrates old stories. Body without mind feels chaotic and disjointed. And without a place to actually put it into practice, neither one adds up to living differently. - Lauren Ziel

Words from your Facilitator:

Two people practicing acro yoga in a studio with exposed brick walls. The man is balanced on one arm with his legs extended, while the woman supports himself with her hands and balances on her foot.

Guiding someone else's self-exploration is a genuine honor, and I don't take that trust lightly. I bring presence, humility, curiosity, and humor to the work — and I prioritize understanding you over performing expertise. My style is warm and direct, both at once. I help clients bring unconscious patterns into awareness and build a steadier, more compassionate relationship with their whole system — body, mind, and whatever you call the rest. As a therapist, facilitator, educator, and athlete, I've learned that the body holds knowledge the analytical mind can't reach alone — so somatic work is built into everything I do, helping you actually understand what your body's been telling you. What tends to follow — deeper connection, more curiosity, a fuller way of showing up in your life — isn't something I promise. It's just what tends to happen.
