The original meaning of recreation is to restore, refresh, or create anew. REC SPACE is just that- A space of Re-Creation.
You understand why you struggle, but something still feels stuck.
You've read the books. You've gained insight. You've talked about your patterns. You may know exactly where your anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, or emotional reactions come from. Yet the same experiences keep returning.
Many of the people who find REC SPACE feel caught between adaptation and authenticity.
At some point, they learned ways of thinking, feeling, relating, or performing that helped them navigate life. These strategies often served an important purpose. They helped them belong, succeed, stay safe, meet expectations, or make sense of difficult experiences.
And for a while, those strategies worked… Until they didn't.
Now they may find themselves overwhelmed by anxiety, ruled by perfectionism, disconnected from their emotions, trapped in repetitive relationship patterns, or struggling with a persistent sense that they have lost touch with parts of themselves.
They are not looking to become someone different.
They are looking to reconnect with who they have always been beneath the layers of adaptation, protection, and survival.
REC SPACE is designed for people who want more than insight alone. It is a place to explore the experiences, emotions, relationships, and embodied patterns that shape who we become—and to create new experiences that allow those patterns to evolve.
The REC SPACE Method
REC SPACE is an experiential therapy and coaching practice integrating somatic awareness, relational depth work, and neuroscience-informed approaches to help people shift the patterns that keep repeating. Not just through insight—but through new experience.
Whether you aim to therapeutically address symptoms that are impeding your life or you a seeking to reintegrate the psyche, REC SPACE uses Relationship, Embodiment, and Creativity to transform what was and what is, into what can be.
RELATIONAL
Everything exists in relationship.
Understand dynamic patterns between self & others.
The ways we learned to relate—to ourselves, others, emotions, conflict, vulnerability, and the body—shape our entire experience of life.
By bringing these relational patterns into awareness and experience, new possibilities emerge.
EMBODIED
The body is not separate from the psyche.
Access emotions, nervous system states, and implicit memory.
Our nervous system, emotions, posture, breath, movement, and sensations all carry information about how we’ve learned to survive and adapt.
Through somatic awareness and embodied exploration, we reconnect with the body as a source of insight, regulation, and transformation.
CREATIVE
Real change emerges in and from creativity.
Create new emotional experiences that allow transformative change.
Creativity is the psyche’s capacity to reorganize itself in response to new experience.
When we feel safe enough to explore rather than defend, new emotional, relational, and behavioral possibilities emerge naturally.
REC SPACE Offerings
Integrative Experiential Psychotherapy provides treatment for those struggling with protective patterns which now impede daily functioning.
Going beyond traditional talk therapy, experiential techniques allow clients to move beyond an intellectual understanding of why they do what they do, and actually re-pattern their implicit learnings and re-create a rational and emotional coherence.
Designed for those with a high capacity for doing and achieving but are seeking deeper alignment, presence, and expansion with themselves. Experiential Facilitation Sessions integrate the relational process, embodied awareness, and various experiential techniques to move you beyond intellectual understanding of yourself into a felt and lived transformation.
REC SPACE offers complementary & intensive support for those wanting to work deeply in a condensed and specific period of time. These extended sessions create space to quickly move beyond surface-level patterns, access core emotional experiences, and accelerate meaningful transformation through sustained experiential work.
Sessions in preparation and integration of peak-experiences (such as: medicine, breath-work, dream-work, and movement awareness) are also offered.

1:1 Guided Sessions can be helpful for working on, or through, a specific issue. Sessions are more directive and goal oriented. This work is also different than therapy as it does not address a mental health symptom or diagnosis. I do not diagnose or treat any mental health disorders when facilitating guided sessions.
On the other hand, therapy offers an opportunity to address the causes and effects of mental health struggles with the expressed purpose of healing & improving current symptoms. Diagnosis and /or treatment of mental health disorders can be included in this process.

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. In-office sessions are available in Northeast Los Angeles. Walking sessions in the surrounding area are available depending on availability/scheduling. Online therapy sessions are available for those living in California, Washington, Virginia, and Florida*.
Online 1:1 guided sessions are available to anyone in any location.

I deeply value this work and honor the skill & capacity needed to create a safe and nourishing space for my clients. For this reason, I do not take-on many clients in order to maintain the integrity of our work together.
I will remember the names of your loved ones. I will want to see pictures of your baby or fur-baby. I will be genuinely curious to bear witness to all you have to express.

And because I also believe in the importance of accessibility to this work, sliding scale options are available depending on need and availability.

You can also contact your insurance company directly to access information regarding your mental health benefits. If your health insurance agrees to reimburse you for your sessions, you will pay for services directly and I will provide you with a monthly Superbill that you can submit for reimbursement.
