From Reaction to Re-Creation

You know your patterns. You’ve talked through the feelings. You’ve probably done the mindset work too.

So why are you still stuck?

Because insight, emotion, and action each do part of the job — but none of them, alone, finishes it. Change happens when you know it, feel it, and do something different, all at the same time, enough that your mind actually updates what it believes. Not just what it thinks.

That takes more than talking. It takes experience.

What we’re actually doing in session

This isn’t just a framework you learn and apply on your own — it’s something we build together, live, every time. We relate to yourself differently, put a new experience in your body, and test out a new possibility. Not fixing what’s broken. Finding out what’s possible.

KNOW

Insight tells you where you are. It doesn't move you.

We get clear on the pattern: where it started, what it’s protecting, why it made sense.

FEEL

Your brain can explain it. Your body can release it.

We drop under the story into what’s actually happening physically, as it’s happening.

DO

A new experience is what changes old learning — not talking about it after the fact.

We try on a different truth while the old one is still live in the room.

Two ways to work together

For when you’re facing a specific mental health concern. As your licensed therapist, I draw on CBT, somatic work, and parts work to help you build real, lasting change — not just coping strategies.

For open-ended growth work outside a clinical frame. We use conversation, imagery, and somatic technique to surface the patterns running your life and create room for something new.

Not sure which one you need?

  • Working through a diagnosable concern → Clinical Therapy

  • Want a licensed therapist → Clinical Therapy

  • Open-ended growth, no diagnosis needed → Experiential Facilitation

  • Comfortable with an embodied, exploratory approach → Experiential Facilitation

Both lead to real insight and integration. If you’re not sure, let’s talk it through.

Trained in the science. Present as a human.

I’m a scientist and a mystic — someone who trusts the research and trusts what’s in the room. My approach is grounded in current work in clinical psycho-neurology, but the work itself is intuitive, because you’re not a formula. Showing up fully — contradictions included — is what makes real change possible.

  • "I couldn't tell you how the changed happened, but I can tell you what changed. I genuinely no longer feel the paralyzing fear that used to grip me at work. I am confident and more efficient in a way I never thought possible. "

    -N.Z.

  • "Lauren took great care to hold a sturdy environment for self-exploration. Her presence held me in safety so I could feel what was once un-feelable. "

    -S.O.
