From Reaction to Re-Creation

Thought illuminates. Emotion activates. Action integrates.

Experience your way to something new

A blurry photo of a person standing and holding an umbrella in a foggy or misty outdoor setting.

You understand why you struggle, but you still feel stuck.

You've read the books. Done the work. Named the pattern a hundred times. You know exactly why you are the way you are — and the same painful, disappointing experiences keep happening anyway.

Maybe it shows up as anxiety, or perfectionism, or a relationship pattern you can't seem to exit. Maybe it's just a quiet, persistent sense that you've lost touch with parts of yourself along the way.

Your problem isn't a lack of insight. It's a lack of access — more access to who you've always been, underneath the adaptation, protection, and survival.

REC SPACE helps you build that access. It's a place to explore the experiences and embodied patterns that shaped who you've become — and the opportunity to unlearn & re-create who you were always meant to be.

Let's Re-Create

A session is space to experience something differently

A REC SPACE session is a unique collaboration between your inner world and the present moment, guided by a skilled facilitator.

It's a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without any pressure to perform or pretend. Through a blend of conversation, visualization, and somatic techniques, we'll work together to illuminate the patterns that have been shaping your experience and explore new possibilities for growth and change.

The goal isn't just to understand your patterns, but to experience yourself in a new way—to embody a different way of being. This is the heart of our collaboration: co-creating a space where transformation can happen, not through force, but through a gentle, yet powerful process of awareness and choice.

By the end of the session, you'll have a felt sense of something different—a new perspective, a fresh way of relating to yourself and your life. And you'll have the tools to continue this collaborative process on your own, long after our work together has ended.

"Insight tells you what's wrong. It rarely changes it. What changes it is experience — sensing something, picturing it, feeling it, moving toward or away from it, naming it — all at once, while it's happening. That's what a session is: space to have that experience, fully enough that your mind updates what it already believed."

REC stands for Relate, Embody, Create — because that’s what we’re doing in every session. We’re relating to ourselves in a new way, embodying a different experience, and creating a new possibility. It’s not about fixing what’s broken, it’s about discovering what’s possible.

Every session can be an act of re-creation

RELATIONAL

Everything exists in relationship.

Understand dynamic patterns between self & others.

The ways we learned to relate—to ourselves, others, emotions, conflict, vulnerability, and the body—shape our entire experience of life.

By bringing these relational patterns into awareness and experience, new possibilities emerge.

EMBODIED

The body is not separate from the psyche.

Access emotions, nervous system states, and implicit memory.

Our nervous system, emotions, posture, breath, movement, and sensations all carry information about how we’ve learned to survive and adapt.

Through somatic awareness and embodied exploration, we reconnect with the body as a source of information, regulation, and transformation.

CREATIVE

Real change emerges in and from creativity.

Create new emotional experiences that allow transformative change.

Creativity is the your system’s capacity to reorganize itself in response to new experience.

When we feel safe enough to explore rather than defend, new emotional, relational, and behavioral possibilities emerge naturally.

Clinical Therapy & Experiential Facilitation

In Clinical Therapy, we address specific mental health concerns you're facing. As a licensed therapist, I provide a safe space to explore your experiences and develop coping strategies.

We may use evidence-based techniques like cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindful and somatic practices, and parts-work to help you gain insight, build resilience, and create lasting change.

Clinical Therapy is ideal if you're dealing with a diagnosable mental health condition or need professional support during a challenging time.

In Experiential Facilitation, we collaboratively explore your thoughts, emotions, sensations, and ways of being to facilitate personal growth and transformation.

Through conversation, visualization, and somatic techniques, we'll illuminate patterns shaping your reality and create space for new insights and possibilities.

Experiential Facilitation is perfect if you're seeking an open-ended, exploratory approach to personal growth, especially if you feel stuck or disconnected from your purpose.

Choosing between Clinical Therapy and Experiential Facilitation depends on your needs and goals:

  • Struggling with a specific mental health concern? → Clinical Therapy

  • Seeking open-ended exploration for personal growth? → Experiential Facilitation

  • Prefer a licensed mental health professional? → Clinical Therapy

  • Comfortable with an experiential, embodied approach? → Experiential Facilitation

Both tracks offer profound insight, healing, and integration. If you're unsure, book a consultation to discuss your situation and determine the best approach."

Guided by a skilled practitioner, held by a human

I’m a scientist and a mystic, an analyzer and an artist. I bring my liberal arts mind and curious soul to every session, because I believe showing up as you are - the contradictions, the experiences, the “is-ness” of you — is what’s required to facilitate real change. My approach is grounded in the latest research in clinical psycho-neurology, but it’s also deeply intuitive — because you’re not a formula, you’re a human.

  • "I couldn't tell you how the changed happened, but I can tell you what changed. I genuinely no longer feel the paralyzing fear that used to grip me at work. I am confident and more efficient in a way I never thought possible. "

    -N.Z.

  • "Lauren took great care to hold a sturdy environment for self-exploration. Her presence held me in safety so I could feel what was once un-feelable. "
