Recreation for Reclamation

Rooted in the original meaning of recreation—to refresh or create anew—REC SPACE is a sacred space for intentional re-creation.

As Joseph Campbell said, “A good way to conceive of sacred space is as a playground.” REC SPACE is a just that: a creative playground for the psyche—a space to freely explore and reshape your inner world. This kind of transformative process is spontaneous, self-directed, and fueled by curiosity. In other words, it is play.

With no pressure to perform or chase outcomes, it’s about genuine, active engagement with yourself. Your REC SPACE will be entirely your own—a unique, sovereign space you can return to again and again.

The Rec Space Approach

R

Relate

Everything is a relationship. Exploring the dynamic patterns of how we relate opens up opportunity to invite change. With practice we increase the capacity to skillfully dance with self, other, and the spaces between.

E

EMBODY

Our bodies are the instrument of lived experience. Through growing somatic & emotional awareness, we connect with the body as a gateway to deeper experience, conscious choice, and present-attention.

C

CREATE

Creativity is the emergent expression of what is here/now with what is here, now. The more we are safely connected to our relational and embodied experience, the more open we are to this energy - the force that facilitates change.
